The first rotter ski bash, we flew into Venice and spent the night in a hostel with a drive to Slovenia the next day.
4 Rotters, pulled over by Italian police in a car full of beers.
Ian’s manager kindly let us stay at his house in Lazec. Great to wind down with Mario Kart 64 on the old box tv.
We stopped here on the way back from Kanin, a memorial to the locals who held off a Nazi assualt.
Bled is a beautiful town, a great day.
The last ski day saw us at Kanin, after making a spectacle of ourselves trying to get into the gondola we were whisked up to 2500m. Amazing views but tough skiing for a beginner like me. Many beers sunk at the mountain top bar whilst the others explored the pistes.
